Home Sweet Home

We made it home safely! Everything was so nice and well worth the trip. We went to the doctor on Friday morning and went through the usual routine. She was not happy with the way the follicles are developing. They are not as far a long as they should be at this point. They measured way too small. They hadn't grown hardly at all since they last time we were there. She decided to double our dose of the ovulation medicine. The good thing about it was that she told me that I didn't have to come back until Monday, which was great! I am going back tomorrow and if they haven't reached a certain size then they will have to cancel the cycle. If they are growing then they will more than likely just push back the retrieval date. I am nervous but I can tell a difference in the last several days. So to me, that means they have grown. Anyway we will see. Everything else looks as it should. We drove to my sister's house after the doctor and had fajitas that my other sister's boyfriend cooked. Then we finally made it to the hotel around 1am. We took our new dog with us and she is only 7 weeks old. They didn't allow dogs in the hotel but it didn't stop us! We hid her in my purse and kept her in the room most of the time. My mom has a little bitty yorkie that she took with her too. It was quite amusing trying to keep them quite and make the room look like there was no dogs in there! We all got up early Saturday morning, had breakfast and got ready to take family pictures. Which let me tell was no easy task. 24 people trying to take all kinds of pictures takes a while we figured out! The picture place was in the mall and we spent from 3 until 8:30 in the mall. The pictures all turned out wonderful! I'll post some later. Every sibling did family pictures, then we did just siblings, then grandkids, and grandkids and grandparents. It was all worth it in the end. Then we swam and sat around visiting. We got up today, had breakfast, packed and then had lunch. We stopped at my sister's house one last time and then headed home. My brother will leave on the 29th and will get to come back home in June. I never felt very uncomfortable and actually wore jeans most of one day. It was a nice relaxing weekend!
