Almost ready!

We talked to our doctor last month and she told us that we needed to pick a sperm donor to use with our surrogate. We found out on Monday that we have a frozen sample of Jason's sperm that we can use!!!! We are very excited!! It is a great story actually. When we went through the last IVF with my sister donating the eggs, they made Jason freeze a sample just in case we might need it. After we were done with it all we asked them to discard it. When went in and talked the embryologist, he told us we would have to sign off on it for them to discard it. We waited for 30 minutes and they couldn't ever find the form. He asked us if he could just mail it and we said that it was fine. We never got the form but we also never got a bill for the storage fee. We really didn't worry about it since we never got a bill so nothing else was ever said about it. My doctor checked into it because of a hunch. The sperm was still there and very healthy! FDA makes it where the samples have to be frozen for at least 6 months and it has been frozen longer than that. We are on a time frame with our surrogate so we really do only have ONE chance with his sperm. My doctor also talked to a lawyer about the legal work and she thinks we can make it all work. We are meeting with her to discuss it all. Jason and the surrogate will have to have sych evaluations done and then hopefully we can start! If it doesn't work on the first time then we will have to pick a sperm donor. We are praying very hard that it works the first time. We really want it to work so the baby will be biologically Jason's. I know it doesn't matter but if we can have one that is his, we really want that!! We are hoping that we can have everything done and be able to do the procedure in June or early July. Everyone please say a little prayer for all of us!! We are very hopeful and we can't wait to get all the legal work done!!
